Wonderful Indonesia

The Indonesian Embassy in Berlin together with trade Attaché Berlin and ITPC-Hamburg initiated the exhibition “trade with remarkable Indonesia” at the event “wonderful Indonesia 2016” to promote Indonesian culture and products at the Piazza Mall of Berlin. 

Indonesia-Consult RS GmbH (IndoCon) was represented by Dwi Anoraganingrum as the representative of three Indonesian companies: PT Mega Inovasi Organik (MIO; previously Megainovasi Karya Mandiri), CV Multi Rempah Sulawesi (MRS) and PT Global Sumatera Lestari (GSL) joined the “Wonderful Indonesia” to promote Indonesian Organic Products at Piazza Mall of Berlin on Friday, 17.06.2016 and Saturday, 18.06.2016.

MIO showcased three coconut products: Organic Coconut Blossom Sugar (mesh-12 and mesh-40), Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Coconut Blossom Sugar Syrup and two special spices (Long Pepper known as Cabe Jawa) and Cubeb Pepper known as Kemukus).

MRS exhibited organic spices such as Nutmegs, Mace, Cloves, Clove Stem, Cinnamon Cassia, Pepper and Vanilla.

From GSL we brought coffee products: Green Beans, Roasted Coffee and Cascara.

Beside the products of the companies above, IndoCon also brought a very rare spices from Sumatra: Andaliman Pepper. 

Visitors showed much interest in retailing these products. Some of visitors from last year returned to see whether they can buy the product we’ve shown last year.

The Indonesian Consulate in Frankfurt opened a booth at the “Museumuferfest” to promote Indonesia as the Guest of Honour in the upcoming World’s Biggest Book Event, the “Frankfurt Book Fair 2015”, which will be held on 14 up to 18 of October this year.
KJRI Frankfurt presented the products from IndoCon Foods, MDG EurAsia Interior Design Bochum (Indonesian craft) on Saturday, 13 June 2015 and Woman Association (Dharma Wanita) KJRI Frankfurt.
In Indonesia's stage some cultural and arts performance were presented. All stages performance are under the lead of Mr. Slamet Rahardjo.

The Indonesian Embassy in Berlin initiated the “Ein Tag in Indonesien” to promote Indonesia as the Guest of Honour in the upcoming World’s Biggest Book Event, the “Frankfurt Book Fair 2015”, which will be held on 14 up to 18 of October this year.

Indonesia-Consult RS GmbH (IndoCon) represented by Anne Soniavitri and Dwi Anoraganingrum as the representative of PT Megainovasi Karya Mandiri and CV Multi Rempah Sulawesi, joined the ”Ein Tag in Indonesien” (A Day in Indonesia), to promote Indonesian Organic Products at Piazza Mall in Berlin on Saturday, 13 June 2015.
PT Megainovasi Karya Mandiri showcased organic coconut sugar (powder and mesh-12), vanilla, and dried ginger (“Gajah” and “Emprit”) while CV Multi Rempah Sulawesi exhibited organic spices such as nutmegs, mace, cloves, clove stem, cinnamon, and mixed pepper. Visitors showed their interests in retailing these products.

Other organizations like “Kainku Living Berlin” (textile product home decoration), “MDG EurAsia Interior Design Bochum” (Indonesian craft), IndoTatis Bremen – (Coffee), “Indomarkt GmbH Berlin” (Indonesian food and beverages), “Oscar GmbH Schlitz” (Charcoal product), “Dr. Weiglein Expeditions GmbH Gelnhausen” (Papua Tourism), “Mr. Alberto Sibuea Berlin” – Chef (“Nasi Tumpeng”), “Indonesian Trade Promotion Center Hamburg” (Information about Indonesia and its events) were also presented Indonesia’s rich resources in the event.
The Event revealed the Diversity of Indonesia into three sessions. The first session opened with the song from Cendrawasih Voice; followed by a video presentation; and tourism of Indonesia, focusing on Papua. Interactive Quizzes were presented by the two moderators in German and Indonesian languages. Reading of folklore and the interview video with Ayu Utami in support of “Indonesia as the Guest of Honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2015” concluded the first session.
The second session began with the Parade of Artist Parade at the Lobby of Mall of Berlin. The traditional dances from West-Sumatra (“Talempong”), from Jakarta (“Renggong Manis”), and from Aceh (“Saman” and Pencak Silat) were performed next.  Indonesian Ambassador S.E. Dr.-Ing. Fauzi Bowo delivered his speech, following the presentation of Chef Alberto Sibuea’s “Potong Tumpeng” in a Borobudur shape. Tombola winner was announced afterwards, celebrating with the song from Cendrawasih Voice and live band from Cakalang Band. The second session was closed with an interactive dance from Papua “Sajojo” together with the audience. After a 20 minute-break, the session three set up  before 5 in the afternoon and continued the display of Indonesian Culture through its Martial Arts (“Pencak Silat”) and the interactive dance (“Poco Poco”) from Sulawesi. The program lasted at 8 in the evening.

Ein Tag in Indonesien attracted the visitors of Mall of Berlin, anticipating the organizer to do it annually.  This event also gave a special avenue for IndoCon to introduce Indonesian organic products to the German market.

Biofach Messe 2015


IndonesiaConsult (IndoCon) participated in the world’s leading organic fair, the BIOFACH, by assisting the Indonesian delegation and joining the 44,000 visitors from 136 countries and the 2,348 exhibitors in Nürnberg, Germany from February 11 up February 14, 2015.

BIOFACH, is the World's leading Trade Fair for Organic Food, and VIVANESS, the International Trade Fair for Natural Personal Care, once again confirmed that Nuremberg is THE meeting place for the organic community with a satisfying increase of 5 % in visitor numbers.[Press Release Biofach 2015].

For its fifth year of participation to expand the network in the field of organic food and beverage market, this year IndoCon provided assistance to its partner Multi Rempah Sulawesi (MRS) 

MRS exports agricultural products particularly spices such as nutmeg, mace and cloves. It works closely with the farmers and provides training in environmental and climate issues for a better sustainability and quality management. 

"The nutmegs are in accordance with EU-Organic standards. We offer high quality products at a very competitive price and by aflatoxins and ochratoxin control. We are currently preparing the certification of white pepper, MRS Owner Irwan Tosali said.
We distribute all certified products in Japan and the Netherlands. With the help of IndoCon, we are expanding our market constantly in Europe”, Mr. Tosali added.


The Ministery of Agriculture (MOA), Indonesian Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC) and Trade Attache Indonesian Embassy in Berlin sponsored the 56-square meter Indonesian booth, where the four exhibitors presented their top quality products during the four-day fair.
Likewise, Deputy Head of ITPC Mr. Fadjar took in charge the said booth together with Nürnberg Messe Representative, Ms. Paula Jahja and IndoCon's representative Ms. Dwi Anoraganingrum from the preparation day until the fair ended.


Aside from MRS, three other Indonesian exhibitors joined the Indonesian booth: Salacca Sleman which offers Salacca fruit, Rembyung Sakha which deals with Organic Arenga Red Ginger Cocktail, Organic Arenga Palm Sugar, Organic Flores Cashew Nuts, Organic Rice, and natural Coconut Oil and Coco Sugar which supplies bulk of organic coconut sugar.


To help the ITPC and MOA in estimating the market need of Indonesian Organic Products, all the exhibitors were required to submit a daily report.
The trade potential from three counters (Multi Rempah Sulawesi, Rembyung Sakha and Coco Sugar ) reached to seven million US Dollar, based on data collected from the visitors of Indonesian booth for four days.
Beside the Indonesian booth, there were also five Indonesian companies: PT Megainovasi Karya Mandiri, PT Harendong Green Farm, PT. Bukit Sari, PT Kampung Kearifan Indonesia and PT Tripper Natur joined the Swiss Import Promotion Program (SIPPO).

All Indonesian participants were also invited in welcome dinner, supported by the trade attache of the Indonesian Embassy, Berlin. 

Additionally, Berlin’s trade attache Ms. Lita Siregar and Frankfurt’s Consulate General Mrs. Wahyu Hersetiati visited the Indonesian booth.

At the end of fair, TVOne Reporter Miranti Hirschmann visited the booth and interviewed the consulate general of Frankfurt as well as some Indonesian participants.  It is also reported at Viva News.

Business Meeting and Toy Fair 2015 in Nuremberg

After the Toy Fair in February 2014, IndoCon became a consultant of Helos Aviation Technology LLC (Helostech), a US Company based in San Jose, California. 
The company focuses its business on
R/C in particular on helicopters, servos and drones.

Between January 26th and February 4th 2015, Mr. James Mahoney, the owner of Helostech visited Nuremberg due to the annual Toy-Fair and business meetings with his partner from Concept-Helicopter, Mr. Ulrich Duttenhoffer.

IndoCon, namely Ms. Dwi Anoraganingrum arranged and assisted Mr Mahoney on his Toy Fair visit and his trip to Kassel for the business meeting with Concept-Helicopter, who has designed a new version of the Helicopter SFour . 


While the design is already finished, the next step is to build 20 prototypes of the new Helicopter model.

During the travel, IndoCon also had the chance to try a new camera: Lytro which creates "living pictures". First exclusive pictures can be found here:

2,396 exhibitors (In year 2012 there were 2,420) include 1,714 International exhibitors (in year 2012 1,688) presented their products to around 40,000 trade visitors from 107 countries.

BioFach Messe 2013

The primary purpose of IndoCon’s participation in Biofach 2013, which held on 13. until 16.02.2013 was to contribute services to design the program (specially related in culture performance in the booth), coordinate and escorting an Indonesian delegation in Germany and to expand the networking within the field of organic food and beverage market.

Indonesian Lounge under Ministry of Agriculture umbrella with support from Consulate General Republic Indonesia in Frankfurt and IndoCon as organizer in Nürnberg having four co-exhibitors for this year: Aliet Green, AOI, Apo Komasa and PMA.

3,5 Representatives from Aliet Green are Björn, Ria, Nils and the baby green: Noah. 3 Representatives from AOI: Indro, Sebastian and Rasdi. 2 Representatives from Apo Komasa: Max and Gustaaf and 2 Representatives from PMA: Lewi and Elsje.
 
For Aliet Green, this was the second time of their presence in this big event, but it was the first time for the little Noah who celebrated his birthday at the end of the Biofach (16.02.2013).

For AOI, Biofach 2013 was the fifth time. But this time they didn’t bring sample of their farmer’s alliance, instead they brought their three members which are Aliet Green, Apo Komasa and PMA.

For Apo Komasa, this Biofach 2013 was the first time and they were lucky that they were supported by the government of Sangihe– Five government representatives from Sangihe were there to be present in the opening ceremony.

For PMA, this was the first time to become co-exhibitor under Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture.


IndoCon was helped by Ms. Anne Sonia as a dancer and provide “Nasi tumpeng” at the opening ceremony, Mr. Setia Nugraha as a photographer at the opening ceremony and Ms Tarasita Gilar as a dancer in 2nd day.
